Surfaced.NET provides a free web-based tool for generating device file-naming patterns to help users discover forgotten YouTube videos. The Service includes:

- Local storage of search history and favorite patterns
- User feedback and pattern suggestion capabilities
The Service is provided "as is" and is intended solely for discovering publicly available YouTube content. We do not host, store, or control YouTube videos or content.
Acceptable Use Policy

YouTube Integration
Surfaced.NET integrates with YouTube by generating search URLs that redirect you to YouTube.com. When you click "Search YouTube," you are subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We do not:
- Access YouTube's API to fetch or display video content
- Store or cache YouTube videos or metadata
- Track your YouTube viewing activity
- Have any control over YouTube's search results or content
All YouTube content is governed by Google/YouTube's policies. Any issues with YouTube content should be reported directly to YouTube.
User Content and Feedback
When you submit feedback, pattern suggestions, or contact us through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate your submissions to improve the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to submit the content
- Your submissions do not violate any third-party rights
- Your submissions do not contain harmful, offensive, or illegal content
We reserve the right to remove any user submissions that violate these Terms or are otherwise inappropriate, without notice.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, functionality, patterns database, and documentation, is owned by Surfaced.NET and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our pattern library is based on research by KVN AUST and MIKA_VIRUS ("YouTube's Recycle Bin Map 2.0"), and we credit their work appropriately. The implementation, database, and software are our original work.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our pattern database without permission
- Create derivative works or competing services based on our Service
- Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
You may use the Service for personal or commercial YouTube discovery purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Disclaimers and Limitations
Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
No Guarantee of Results
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Generated patterns will produce specific YouTube search results
- The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
- Any errors or defects will be corrected
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SURFACED.NET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
- Any interruption or cessation of the Service
- Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
- Any content or conduct of third parties on the Service
External Content
Surfaced.NET is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of any YouTube videos discovered through our Service. We are a search tool only and have no control over YouTube's content or policies.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Surfaced.NET, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
- Any content you submit to the Service
Service Modifications and Termination
